We're confident in our method — confident enough to put your money behind it. Follow the Cathoven study plan, sit your official IELTS, and if your Overall Band Score doesn't rise by at least 1.0 band, we'll refund your Cathoven subscription in full.

How it works

Meet the eligibility criteria below, and if your Overall Band Score doesn't rise by at least 1.0 band after using Cathoven, we'll refund 100% of what you paid for Premium.

  • Share your starting score. Upload your official, valid IELTS report (TRF) when you sign up — within 7 days of registering.
  • Practise with Cathoven. Follow your study plan and complete all the tasks in your study plan.
  • Sit the real exam. Take your official IELTS test within 60 days after your Premium subscription ends.

Who qualifies

To keep the guarantee fair to students who genuinely commit, you'll need to meet all of the following:

  • Starting band: Official IELTS report with an Overall Band Score of 6.5 or lower, issued within 3 months before subscribing. Upload within 7 days of signing up.
  • Subscription duration: A continuous, paid Premium subscription for at least 3 months (90 days).
  • Success Checklist: Complete every task listed in your study plan.
  • Mock exams: At least 12 mock exams in each section — 12 Listening, 12 Reading, 12 Writing, and 12 Speaking.
  • AI feedback: A minimum of 30 sessions with your AI tutor.
  • Personal use only: Your Cathoven account is used only by you, the registered student.

Application timeline

  • Submit your starting report: within 7 days of signing up.
  • Take your official IELTS retake: within 60 days after your Premium subscription ends.
  • File your refund claim: within 30 days of your official exam date.

To claim, email [email protected] with the subject line “IELTS Guarantee Refund — [Your Name]”. Include your full name, the email tied to your Cathoven account, and PDF copies of both official IELTS reports (the starting one and the new one). Our team verifies each claim within 7–10 business days.

General terms and conditions

  • We reserve the right to deny claims if activity logs suggest fraudulent completion — for example, finishing a Reading section in 5 minutes or submitting empty Writing tasks.
  • The guarantee applies only to the first official IELTS exam taken after completing our program.
  • Refunds are limited to the subscription cost. They do not cover official IELTS exam fees, travel, or third-party tutor services.
  • We use activity analytics for identity verification. Suspicious activity — for example, simultaneous logins from different locations — will void refund eligibility.

Frequently asked questions

What exact score improvement is guaranteed?
An increase in your Overall Band Score by at least 1.0 band — for example, from 5.5 to 6.5.
Do mock tests from other sites count?
No. To be eligible, you must use Cathoven's testing system, because that's how we track your progress and engagement.
Why is the initial score capped at 6.5?
Improving from 7.5 to 8.5 is much harder and depends on subtle language nuances. Our guarantee is built for students who need a significant score jump.
What if I only need to improve Speaking?
The guarantee applies only to your Overall Band Score. Cathoven helps you sharpen individual skills, but the refund condition is tied to your overall result.
